It's been a while since I've seen some friends from my old school >.<.. and well yesterday it was my friend's 18th!! Woop! Anywaz.. it happened to be on a friday.. sooo we all happened to go out. And this is what happened :).
When I got home, I had a shower.. got dressed etc.. and my mum was trying get me to eat more rice.. but I couldn't cause I had lipstick on.. and well I was eating pink rice. I knew I had to fill up a little cause of what might have possibly happened later.. you will see. Anyway I got a taxi there cause I didn't want to walk or bus it.. since it was really cold, dark and impractical in high heels. I got there earlier than most people.. and I bumped into someone from my school who was lost ^__^. So then we made our way together. D got there a bit late.. but I'm glad she did cause the karaoke program wasn't working.. so I complained to the manager.. who actually said they would give a deposit back if we didn't enjoy it (like a boss*). Yeahh.. cause my friends can really sing in Chinese =__=*. But they sorted it out after my concern and most of the stuff was working. When everyone arrived.. I felt all happy inside (yh I know that sounds gay).. but I did. I hardly see anyone I know ever.. and it felt like I've lived a decade out of their lives. I said this in my previous blog but ..I
honestly miss seeing familiar faces and being able to smile and joke with everyone that knows me. I guess that is what happens when you have been somewhere for 6 years. Don't get me wrong though I love my life now.. just missing some faces. Anyway..
How it went
We started off with some songs.. can't actually remember which ones.. but some random Peter Andre? And then D started dancing & rolling (and no not on the floor ><).. We ordered food.. which in the end turned out to be too much.. and a bit sickly and then came the drinks. To be honest I was having a good time anyway.. but cause D was 18.. it was almost inevitable. On my birthday I didn't get drunk.. mainly cause I just wanted a quiet birthday.. but for D let's just say... we ordered shots xD. I was trying to get her to wait 20 minutes so I could get the cake ready and find the right time when everyone was in the room.. but it was sort of hard. So in the end even though she didn't know.. we got the shots before the cake.. and a couple after the cake. I think it got to my head after the vodka and lemonade and on the 4th shot.. offt. I have to be honest.. I've never had shots before and the picture someone took of me looks absolutely awful! I pull weird enough expressions without alcohol.. but I swear that picture is one of the worst I've seen of myself.. and that's really not an exaggeration. Let's just hope D remembers not to upload.. cause I swear imma hit the untag button faster than Usain Bolt doing 20m! I've never drunk to even tipsy or anything like that. I finally found out that I am a HAPPY DRUNK.. cause there are some people who get really sad when they drink and there are some people who get really happy and lively.. Which I'm quite pleased about =b.
Mischelleous
Two main things, bothered me last night. One being that the taxi driver kept looking in his mirror at me.. telling me how beautiful I was.. and whether I had a boyfriend or not. This is why girls! We need to carry a mobile phone. Was feeling pretty safe there =__=* not.
The second thing.. annoyed me a little further. Since we were having our own little party in the karaoke room.. there was 2-3 more other rooms on the same floor. One room consisting of a bunch of Vietnamese drunks and another with chinese. How can you even be drunk at 8pm? What are you going to do with your 3 and a half more hours? Sleep?! I'm not going to be sad to them (yes I am) or racist.. in fact I can't actually cause I am half viet half chinese.. but what the hell were they on? On a normal day.. I don't like guys looking at me.. on my friends party I decided to allow it. Everytime I tried to talk to the manager.. they would all try to talk to me. All asking if it was my birthday.. and I still don't get the disappointed look on their face when I said no.. that doesn't even make sense. Oh and there was this one guy who kept saying daa-ling (darling in English terms) to me.. and I just ignored it. Like I said, we had shots before the cake.. so when I got the cake I was in a mood where I felt like I had guts. When everyone was inside singing.. I went out to light the cake and bring it in. But some of them blew out as I walked.. so I relit. When I got to the door.. these guys (who were either drunk or insane were sitting outside our room) starting blowing out the candles.. and as I was just going walk in with the cake (manager opened the door).. four of the ten candles went out. In my mind I was literally going to kill them.. literally. The idea of not being able to properly surprise my friend and having some next randomer blow out my friend's candles before she did was enough to make me swear at him.. and I don't really swear tbh.. so it is a big deal for me. I've never swore at random people.. maybe just at home when life is stressful.. but that's about it. I just remember pointing at him and saying "if you want to mess with me, come here and mess with me .V.!" Yeah don't reread that.. it sounds wrong. In the end the manager relit the candle and sent them back to their room where they should have been (instead of watching my friends sing and dance.. bloody pervs =__=).
Still with it
Anyway, I won't get the mischellous stuff over shadow my friend's party.. that was just a small part to it. She loved the cake.. I hope she did ^__^.. and then A decided to fully shove cake into D's face which was absolutely genius xD.. (we have that on camera don't worry). My aim was to make her day as enjoyable as it could be.. even if it meant having to have shots. I guess it wouldn't be as fun to drink by yourself. Me and A were still with it.. and we still talked sense. In fact it scared me how well I was talking.. cause I knew everything I was saying.. and I had good conversations with people. I kept telling everyone I WAS NOT drunk.. and I know some people couldn't distinguish between me being drunk or sober.. I was in fact sober. I wasn't off my face.. the only thing that changed was that I was more hyper and that my walking was a little off (a little does not mean walking into walls) & I could walk perfectly up the stairs. And I could also perfectly kill any viet guy that looked at me again! D on the other hand.. did a cartwheel-handstand on the sofa.. and it doesn't sound dangerous.. but really it was! A, my smart friend decided to buy the last shot.. which really wasn't a good for D in her current position. Thanks to her parents, I managed to get a lift home safely :). I think she did have a good birthday.. and although I missed half of it by not being with her at school.. I hope she's ok in bed right now.
Home
After I got home I lay on the sofa telling my dad "dad I'm a bit tipsy.. not drunk yet" and so I went upstairs telling my brother about the event.. and lay in bed feeling like "offt". Thinking to myself.. 'what are you doing to yourself, you're drinking poison'. I asked my dad to get me some water... bad idea! I drink quite a lot of water everyday cause it's really good for you. If you're a biologist.. read this. [More water potential in the body means the concentration of solvent will be less, allowing more water for your body and mind-i.e hoping to counteract the alcohol] Let's just say the 2nd glass I had.. the same result happened.. eurgh you guys don't want to know. I am wondering though what the best remedy is for drinking.. I heard coffee was good.. but that in itself counts odd. But guys definitely not water! Don't try be a smart ass like me and think water will cancel out the alcohol.. well it may do.. just not for me =__=*.I ended up sleeping in my party clothes..makeup off, shoes off and slept so well! I could have changed but I sleep in whatever when I'm tired anyway.
Today
I automatically woke up at 6.45am.. lol normal school day like nothing happened the night before. Then I started talking to parents about last night.. breakfast etc. The funny thing is, I don't even have a headache or a hangover or anything. I feel completely fine, if not better cause I'm smiling at the fact I'm not hung-over and my friends probably are.. (News update: friend just texted saying D was up at 2am on the trampoline doing handstands =D.. and A is feeling rough) Lucky me! I never did think I was a lightweight with drink.. and maybe the rice my mum tried to stuff down me helped :). Thanks mum.. anyways guys I'm off to buy some potential new shoes.. cause the ones I have now give me blisters :). Enjoy your day.. and I'll post soon enough.
P.S: Everyone needs a little Justin Bieber sometimes.. Baby baby baby ohhhh…
